EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT
TAX CREDIT FOR BUSINESSES

For the first time in 2023, Berks Arts is a participant in Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC) as an Educational Improvement Organization (EIO). Pennsylvania companies may be able to contribute to the educational programs of Berks Arts in a fast and easy way to make a difference in our community and receive a significant corporate tax credit.

getJazzed Education is the official music education program of Boscov’s Berks Jazz Fest. Serving more than 1,000 students annually, getJazzed creates opportunities for young, aspiring musicians to learn, jam, and perform with the professionals in a variety of educational and performance settings across Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Music Educators of Berks County (MEBC) is a collaborative of music educators across Berks County who seek to provide excellent educational experiences for students. Each year, Berks Arts supports MEBC in presenting several learning and performance opportunities for more than 1,300 students grades 6-12 in the areas of band, chorus, and orchestra.

Fast Lane Art is a celebration of the intersection between Art Education and Public Art. Each year, the Fast Lane Art selection committee chooses dozens of works of art created by Berks County high school students, then partners with local businesses, municipalities, organizations, universities, hotels, and more to display the artwork in large, public format. Installations include digital billboards, storefront windows, bridge banners, cafeterias, and more.
