Ron Irons Exhibit

December 1, 2023- January 19, 2024
Holleran Gallery Hours: Mon-Fri.: 9am-8 pm | Sat. 9 am-1 pm | Sunday: Closed

Ron Irons was born in Missouri and moved to Pennsylvania with his family as a teenager where rural country sides and landscapes began making an impression on his art. In 1983, he relocated to Greensboro North Carolina and after a long career as a Creative Director in the ad agency business, Ron retired and began painting full time in 2015.

Always inspired by the work of Andrew Wyeth and David Armstrong, Ron’s subject matter for his watercolor paintings not only embraces the rural landscapes of his childhood but translates to those of his current home in North Carolina. Whether through nostalgia or present-day experiences, viewers of his work currently in the Holleran Gallery will find a meaningful connection to the simple but soulful locales ever present in rural living.
